Quantum Healing Therapy & Aromatherapy

Dr. Cécile Ellert, Ph.D.
Dr. Cécile Ellert is a holistic aromatherapist, researcher, author, and educator — building bridges between the ancient and the quantum, the clinical and the intuitive, the molecular and the energetic.
For over twenty years, her work has focused on the energetic imbalances behind chronic health issues, gut disorders, and emotional challenges. She is the creator of AromaSoulTherapy™, a method combining quantum aromatherapy and spiritual healing, and the founder of Subtil Academy — her English-language home for essential oils, integrative health, and the teaching of a new generation of therapists.
She teaches in both French and English, has authored ten books on essential oils and integrative health, and speaks at international conferences on the future of aromatherapy.
Cécile's mission begins with a conviction: essential oils are not just aromatic molecules. They are quantum-scale messengers — capable of acting where conventional medicine often cannot reach. On the subtle bodies, the emotional field, the energetic root of what manifests as illness.
She advocates for the democratization of essential oils as a daily preventive practice — helping women reclaim autonomy in their health, addressing the over-medicalization of everyday life, and training therapists to dialogue with the medical world while holding an expanded awareness of healing.
This is not alternative medicine. This is the medicine of the future — encoded in our most ancient traditions.
Cécile was born and raised in France, where she graduated from culinary and business school. In 1994, she left France — first for the United States to raise a family, then onward to Hong Kong, where she lived for ten years.
It was in Hong Kong that she discovered her life's work. She obtained her APAhad diploma at the Asia Pacific Aromatherapy School in 2005, studying directly under Christine Saunders, and later pursued advanced training with Gabriel Mojay and Rhiannon Harris — shaped along the way by the wider community of thinkers and clinicians who have defined the modern field of aromatherapy.
Today, Cécile lives in New England, where she practices, writes, teaches online, and is currently furthering her expertise in sustainability through coursework at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) — exploring how essential oils can contribute to a more eco-conscious model of healthcare.
